Arrowsmith Cognitive Programme (Clocks)

Strengthening the Skills Your Child Needs to Learn
Our cognitive programme is based on the Arrowsmith Program, designed to improve the underlying skills the brain uses for learning. This is not tutoring. It is a structured programme that helps students learn more efficiently, confidently, and independently.
Who this is for
This programme is ideal for students who:
- struggle to stay focused
- take longer to process information
- forget instructions or lose track of tasks
- find learning effortful or frustrating
What we develop
Through daily, structured cognitive training, students build:
- stronger attention and concentration
- improved memory and processing speed
- better reasoning and problem-solving
- increased flexibility and confidence
What families often notice
As these skills improve, parents often see:
- longer focus and reduced frustration
- quicker completion of schoolwork
- greater independence
- improved confidence across subjects
Structured for Progress
The programme is designed around recommended training hours:
-
- 90 hours (ages 9–14)
- 135 hours (ages 15+)
During the 4-week intensive, students complete a significant portion of these hours, building a strong foundation for continued progress.
After the Summer Programme
Students typically continue with a lighter schedule:
1 hour, 4 days per week (after school)
This allows them to complete the remaining hours over the following 2–3 months, while maintaining progress.
Why this programme works
-
- Structured, research-informed approach
- Daily consistency and repetition
- Focus on root causes of learning difficulty
- Builds skills that support all areas of learning
A different kind of support
If your child is trying hard but still struggling, this programme helps address the underlying barriers to learning, not just the symptoms.
